Our story
American Golden Care is a nurse-owned home in Westland, Michigan, with space for six residents. We care about how each person feels, what matters to them, and the practical help they need. It is a home first.

Meet the person behind the home
Before nursing school, Johnpaul spent three to four years working in an adult foster care home. He brings about five years of nursing experience. His time working in a home like this shapes the way he approaches American Golden Care.
As owner and clinical director, he believes care should consider “spirit, soul and body.” That means understanding the practical help someone needs, while remembering the life, beliefs, and routines that matter to them.
When you visit, a member of the team will show you around and make time for your questions. You can talk about your family member, the support available, and what a move might involve.

Care includes the things that give a day meaning, as well as help with the tasks that have become harder.
